Hey, chart people.
I'm sorry I haven't done a blog in a long time, I just haven't found anything interesting to blog about. LOL. However, the owner of Mariah Turkiye and Lynn (one of the site owners here, as I'm sure you know) gave me the idea to do this blog about the catalogue sales of The Emancipation of Mimi.
Anyways, enough with my rambling here are the figures. LOL.
The Emancipation of Mimi had sold 5,788,070 copies in the US, as of Billboard's May 18th, 2007 issue, selling a rounded 1,600 copies that week. The last chart issue for The Emancipation of Mimi was September 22nd, 2006 (34 issues/weeks ago), with sales of 5,704,060 copies. Meaning the album has sold 84,010 copies since falling off the chart and an average of 2,471 copies per week since falling off the Billboard 200.
