As of 2005, many Canadian record labels stopped releasing commerical singles because of low sales, so there was very little competition and didn't represent the popularity of songs in Canada. The peaks for the The Emancipation of Mimi singles are on the Canadian Airplay Chart. As of 2008, Billboard created a Canadian Hot 100 chart, chart peaks from that chart will be used for singles from now on.
